Germany has faced a huge dilemma after accepting a huge influx of refugees from middle eastern countries. In one day, on New Year's Eve, Germany has experienced the rape of over 1,000 women and Germany's political cabal doesn't want to admit this egregious wrongdoing and the fact that the primary collection of perpetrators were Muslim refugees- natives of either Western Asia or Africa. This problem only expounds on the irrationality of Islam and patriarchal societies as a whole and liberal immigration policies are not the sole problem that needs to be blamed- it's Islam and the irrationality of the pervasive misogynistic culture that plagues Mohammedan nations. Fundamentalist Islam has encouraged rape as a corrective measure to deter the "immorality" of women, and as punishment to stifle women desiring positions of power and wanting to improve their lives. In Islamic societies, women are sexually abused through Female Genital Mutilation, the barbaric custom of manipulating women's genitalia for the so called "pleasure" of men and young women are sold as sex slaves in various regions, primarily Saudi Arabia being the number one destination for the expatriation of young girls as sex slaves.

Islam is bastardizing scientific progress in these countries, and the only nations which are improving scientifically are those nations which have government reforms encouraging secularism like Tunisia and Turkey.

Poor Glucose control harms region of the brain involved with memory

Poor glucose control, or excessive consumption of sugar, can harm a brain region that helps form long-term memories, probably by reducing insulin sensitivity and causing poor mitochondrial function.

The Dentate Gyrus, which is a region of the hippocampal formation, helps the brain store memories. The Dentate Gyrus is also a brain region which creates new neurons through a delicate process called neurogenesis, in which progenitor stem cells specialize into fully functional neurons. Exercise has been shown in studies to boost neurotrophic factors which help form new brain cells in this region of the brain.

Why taxing the rich is crucial for deficit reduction.

We can all agree that increasing the deficit can undermine our economy and increase our national debt- leading to disastrous ramifications and poor relations with our trading partners. A good funding method for reducing our deficit is to increase taxes on the ultra-wealthy, particularly the top 1%, instead of cutting spending alone as many Republicans assert is the only way to deficit reduction. Don't get me wrong. Spending-cuts, especially cuts to the military-industrial complex, is pivotal for our long-term economic health, but research shows that Republicans are adept at maximizing military spending. In fact, they spend just as much as those "Commie Democrats". Republicans are not deficit hawks as they themselves claim. Even most Tea-Party Republicans spend just as much as Democrats, but unfortunately, they'll never admit that. In fact, since the popularization of Third Wayism, a popular political theory bolstered among New Democrats and Blue Dogs in the 1990's, Democrats have been advocating for reductions in federal spending while Republicans are still promoting additional funding for wars and mass incarceration. Increasing taxes on the rich, by a slight percentage, can prevent unnecessary cuts to essential programs and infrastructure that boosts productive and human capital without adding to the Debt. Accelerating economic growth by preserving infrastructure spending in areas like education (which helps the economy by increasing human capital) is key to preserving economic growth. Increasing taxes on the rich, a policy many Republicans abhor, has been verified to have a negligible effect on stifling innovation and industrial output as many supply-siders assert. In fact, according to Paul Krugman, the opposite is true. Fiscally burdening the poor and middle class with unnecessary regressive taxation and cuts to social programs, like SNAP payments and transfer payments, doesn't help increase "personality responsibility". In fact, it destroys the availability of resources and capital for income mobility. According to many sane economists like Krugman, production and investment can only be increased by increasing demand, instead of providing gratuitous tax breaks for the plutocrats. This is Keynesianism 101. The population that comprises the majority of the consumer base isn't the ultra privileged, but rather the poor and middle class because poor people spend a larger share of their income on necessities. This means that cutting taxes for unfortunate classes can stimulate investment and business production by increasing consumer spending. When food stamps are expanded and tax cuts are offered to poor and middle class families, businesses earn additional revenue from increased consumption. The stores that receive income from SNAP payments subsequently use that money to invest in additional equipment and employess. This contributes to gains in employment. In the 1950s, the average effective tax rate for incomes above $250,000 was around 85%. Now it's around 35%. Rich people didn't flee the country in the 1950s as the infamous Laffer Curve would suggest. I'm sure the ultra-privileged can spare some extra cash to balance the budget and reduce the deficit (which is our number one priority).

Additionally, between the 1950s-1970s, people took care of one another. Social capital was at an all time high because of a strong social safety net. Mental illness was at its lowest point in decades in that period because of better emotional satisfaction in their jobs. There was no fear of job insecurity due to outsourcing. Because of increased income equality during that time, parents were less stressed and their offspring matched their parent's mood because there was less neglect and abuse in families. (Google the diathesis stress model). When mom keeps her children home while she works non-stop with a lack of public assistance, this forces children to grow up in environments lacking emotional support and proper care. Because of this, crime actually dramatically increased during the 80s. The Republican solution to this: Increase mass incarceration, extend the death penalty and create unnecessary three strikes laws for misdemeanors at the expense of violating the 8th amendment!
